Private Soccer Training in Brandywine, MD

Brandywine families who want serious, individualized soccer coaching don’t have to leave southern Prince George’s County to find it. Touch Lab Soccer Training brings USSF licensed coaching directly to local parks and fields around Brandywine, with two training formats to choose from: one-on-one sessions for players chasing a specific goal, and small group sessions, capped at 8 players, for those who train better with teammates beside them.

Coaching That Adjusts to the Player

Brandywine sits a little further out from the county’s bigger sports complexes, which often means fewer nearby options for players who want coaching beyond what a standard team practice offers. That gap is exactly what Touch Lab was built to fill. Instead of driving further out for a generic camp, families can bring individualized, academy style coaching right to a park down the road.

Every session, one-on-one or small group, starts with an honest look at where the player currently stands. A player who struggles to keep possession under pressure trains differently than one who needs to sharpen their finishing, and the session plan reflects that from the first rep.

One-on-One Soccer Training in Brandywine

One-on-one coaching means the full session is built around a single player, with no group pacing to work around and no shared attention. Whatever a player needs the most work on gets the most time, session after session.

This format is a strong fit for players who are:

Working to fix one specific issue, like a slow first touch or an underdeveloped weak foot Getting ready for a tryout, evaluation, or showcase New to the sport and still building the ball control basics everything else is built on Playing goalkeeper and need dedicated, position specific training Coming back from an injury and need a coach controlling pace and load directly

Because there’s no group to split attention across, corrections tend to stick faster, particularly for players trying to break a habit that needs repeated, close attention.

Small Group Soccer Training in Brandywine (Up to 8 Players)

Small group sessions keep the personalized coaching but add the energy of training alongside others. Groups stay capped at 8 players, so the setting never turns into a large camp where kids are standing around between reps.

Brandywine families tend to lean toward small group training when:

Their player already has a set group of friends, siblings, or club teammates who want to train together A lower per player cost matters more than fully individualized attention The player pushes harder and performs better with some competition in the mix A travel or club team wants extra reps built around real match situations between regular practices

Sessions mix technical work with small sided scrimmages and possession games, so players are applying what they’re learning under real game pressure instead of just repeating isolated drills.

Inside a Training Session

Every session follows the same intentional structure, whether it’s one-on-one or small group: a dynamic warm up, technical work built around that day’s specific focus, competitive, game realistic activity to put it into practice, and a short cool down with direct feedback for the player and parent. Sessions are held at public parks and fields around Brandywine, scheduled around school, club practice, and whatever else your family already has going on.

About the Coach

Touch Lab Soccer Training is led by a USSF licensed coach with direct experience at the Manchester City Soccer Academy at Sofive and the Skills Institute Soccer Program. That academy background shapes an approach centered on technical fundamentals and game intelligence, the same qualities higher level club programs look for when evaluating players.
